Front Page Draft 1

Here is my first draft of my front page, I have included sell lines such as Tours 2011, and a few names of the people on tour such as David Guetta and Florence and the machine, other sell lines are newest albums, Ellie Goulding tickets, Abbie Reid and a quote from her, and Glastonbury 2011? I feel these articles would interest the readers I'm trying to attract. Also I feel the image is suitable for the magazine because there is no shadowing or reflective backgrounds, and the image is music orientated with an amp and guitar.

• Improvements for this page is that the sell lines need to entice the reader more so I will alter these to attract the reader more
• The masterhead also needs to be made bigger and the tag line needs to be made smaller
• I should also crop the small image of 'Abbie Reid' because her feet flow into the large image
• Another suggestion made was that a banner should be added to make it look more like a realistic magazine
• Ellie Goulding tickets shout out - Is not usually used within a magazine so I should remove this from the front page
